Carmarthenshire county council in the dock

Jacqui Thompson has taken out a petition so people are able to film live meetings at Council meetings.

Perhaps most people would rather film a footie match rather than these boring old cunts but it is a good way of ensuring that the minutes of proceedings at meetings are correct and free of 'Correcting'. To use a biblical analogy.
I agree fully with Jacqui who was actually taken to court by the council. Filming by anybody in the audience or a set camera for web use would be a step forward in the interests of transparency. Something many politicians may secretly disapprove of. But in terms of public value the reverse will be enacted.

Andrew R T Davies and his pereception of political opinion...

Maybe the new Conservative leader seems to have a Frontol lobe lobotomy when it comes to public opinion.
Or maybe he just thinks Fuck it I'll set a policy for me. If this is so its quite refreshing in an oblique type of way.  He wants a return to Fox Hunting. A free vote. Or a vote for Welsh am' s more like not the people. Many am's come from landed or farming backgrounds.
Fox Hunting was banned in 2004 by Westminster. Good on them. Or good on the people to push for it.

They are all rambling on about sharing wealth. Plaid pundit John Dixons post  about sharing wealth.

Wales is perhaps a smaller mirror of england. The wealth is concentrated in the South East of both. But in England there is not the regional disparites that exists in Wales. Heavily endorsed by the EU convergence funds to try and bring some parity with the rest of the UK to West Wales ad the Valleys. Fat chance if everyone is into providing services.
Even small scale factory production has the potential for localised wealth generation.
